Dear friends of Madrigal Chorale:

We hope that you and those you care for are staying safe and healthy.

The staff and members of Madrigal Chorale pray that you find solace and comfort in the music we provide, especially during troubling times. It was difficult for us to cancel our season, but we look forward to making music for you in the future.

This year we have seen so much change, beginning with the Covid-19 pandemic and the drastic effects of that pandemic on the economy, and of course the tragic death of George Floyd and the resulting calls for social justice, equality, and peace. Many of us in the chorale are affected personally by these tragedies and we stand by each other as we look forward to a brighter future.

We cannot predict when Madrigal Chorale can begin rehearsing for our next concert season, but we want you to put the date for our holiday concert on your calendar: December 12, 2020, at The Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament in Detroit, Michigan. We look forward to seeing you in that beautiful church and we leave you with a sample of our holiday music.

In peace,

Dr. Brandon Ulrich ~ Artistic Director, Madrigal Chorale

Richard A. Blauvelt ~ President, Madrigal Chorale
